First visit: assessment and test request
Initial guidance and a test request are provided at the first consultation. The aim is to review results the following week; turnaround depends on the tests and laboratory.
The request may include a full blood count, biochemistry, lipids, thyroid function and other tests where indicated. Not every hormone test is needed for every person.
Your choice of laboratory
You can use Askabide’s laboratory or another provider. Results need to be available for the medical review through the channel agreed with reception.
Check preparation and whether you need to fast before your sample. Do not change medication yourself for a test.
Fees and receiving results
Blood tests are charged separately from the monthly programme. The price and test list are confirmed before sampling; no fixed laboratory package price is published for this programme.
The website has no results portal and does not collect clinical reports. The clinic will explain how to send or receive them. Do not send them through the public WhatsApp links.
